Prayer For A Friend

This is a prayer for you,

My Friend

I heard that you were in some trouble today

Even after having trouble almost every other day

This year is most likely the worst in your whole life

I want to help you

I want to be there for you

I want you to live today,

And live for the rest of your life

I want you to be happy

I want you to find the perfect guy

Who will adore you like you’re the queen of the planet

I want all of your problems to blow away in the breeze

I want for you to be able to take a deep breath

And relieve all of the stress that is pressing down on you

I once said that you were strong

And I still believe in that

I still believe in you

You are phenomenal

You walk into school most days,

Smile fixed upon your face,

Cheery attitude towards all those who great you with not a care in the world

If only they knew…

When you get your math test back

You don’t cry with the rest of the class

When he asks her out

You put on your tough girl pose

And hold it out for your friend

When you hurt,

Physically and emotionally

You are strong

You pull through

You live through it

And put on an attitude like that.

It’s hard,

Goodness yes,

But you come through.

Dear god,

May I please have that outlook towards life someday?

You are the optimy of strong

And I adore you

Be happy, live life

I am so proud to be your friend,
